Ruta de senderusmo «La Pedriza» sierra de Madrid.
Este espacio mágico, lleno de riscos, paredes rocosas, canchales, arroyos y praderas, es meca para muchos escaladores en todo el mundo, un lugar donde puedes encontrar nuevos caminos o perderte por sus laberintos.
Desde Manzanares el Real nos acercaremos a la base del Yelmo, con 1717m, una enorme placa de granito rosado. Dicen que dentro del domo se podría tallar el monasterio de El Escorial en tamaño real.
- Tipo de itinerario: Circular.
- Dificultad: medio.
- Distancia aproximada: 15 km ida y vuelta.
- Duración aproximada: 6h.
- Precio 12 euros por persona, si se necesita transporte 15 adicionales, por persona mínimo seis personas ( hora de recogida sobre las nueve de la mañana, zona norte de Madrid.
- Desnivel: + 800 m

La Pedriza es sin lugar a dudas un rincón excepcional en la vertiente madrileña de la Sierra de Guadarrama, no podemos perdernos sus formaciones rocosas o la fuerza alisadora que el río Manzanares tiene sobre el granito.
